I have a Sony DVP-NS55P DVD/CD player. Pressing either of the power or open/close buttons causes a WELCOME message to scroll across the LCD before any action can take place. It takes a good 3-4 seconds and it drives me nuts.

Solaris PAM and LDAP: No account present for user
Just so there’s some clear google-findable record of this in order to save other people the day I just wasted.

Fender Sonoran SCE Added to the Family
This weekend, Jessica and I bought a pre-owned Fender Sonoran SCE acoustic-electric guitar from Sam Ash in Clearwater. I think we got out the door for around $399 after a $20 Hartke tuner, a $10 floor stand, the instructional book and DVD below, and a 2 year service plan thing for $35.
