How to tolerate cheap nicotine gum

I bought a 30-pack of Walgreens brand 2mg nicotine gum this weekend after my remaining few Nicorette “Fruit Chill” pieces were gone. There’s a reason Nicorette is $10 more expensive. The “Mint” Walgreens gum is awful. Do yourself a favor and buy a $2 multi-pack of Trident (whatever) and pop a piece of that in with your cheapo Nicotine gum.

Cigarette (not nicotine) free for 3 days now. Ugh.

3 days — good deal. What is your motivation?

    My true motivations:

    It smells bad.

It really screws up my sleep — makes me want to sleep 10hrs a day and causes me to be really lazy and slow about getting up.

I’d like to not help out my chances of a heart attack.

Just found this blog from google typing in “cheapest nicotine gum.”

I’ve been off of cigarettes for about 7 weeks chewing 2mg CVS brand mint flavored gum. If you chew too much, it can kind of make you sick, so I started chewing just a half a piece and combining it with a mint-themed Orbit gum. It works pretty well for me.

Keep it up, Ben. You can do it. Just remember to not get addicted to the gum :) It’s expensive enough to dissuade people from continuing with it, which is good.
