Microsoft Live Writer Beta: WYS is not WYG

I downloaded Microsoft Live Writer (beta) just now to see if it was cool. It’s a WYSIWYG blog editor for Windows. Once connected to my Wordpress installation, I opted to edit an existing post.

Finally, someone says it like it really is. When will M$ stop recycling their bad formatting and HTML-generating code?! Just another reason to use everything else. Too bad monopoly dictates that many people will be using this without question for years to come. Ugh!
