It’s been a good 5 months since my “End of blog” announcement. Knowing myself well enough finally, I left everything intact instead of proceeding with my natural instinct to purge and delete.
So here I am again feeling the need to write a bit.
For those who followed the new cat saga, I am sad to report that she was put down 2 months and $800 after I got her. Her skin condition was pretty awful and she was miserable most of the days. After letting the vet know that I was fine with the idea of putting her down, he hesitantly let on (and admitted he was not supposed to do it) that he was nearly positive it was the right thing to do in this case. Anything else was going to be lifelong medication and mostly uncomfortable for all. Her condition was not reacting to anything we tried.
Other than that, I’ve been enjoying my first grill, autocrossing as usual, and spending time with Jessica (and her awesome dogs).
