Hole-y Cow

sreedhara.com has some cool pictures of the largest hole on earth.
The site does seem to be getting severely clobbered right now. Maybe you’ll get lucky. The pictures are worth checking out.

Monopoly to no longer include paper money

My coworker Jeremy might applaud this, but I was perturbed to read that not only will Monopoly no longer come with paper money, but it’s the result of a marketing deal with Visa.
Spokesman Chris Weatherhead said: “The new electronic Monopoly reflects the changing nature of society and the advancement of technology.”
Booooo. Hisssss.

Paver stones with seeds embedded

At first, I thought the Biopaver idea was genius. But aren’t pavers meant for being walked on? If you’re going to lay a bunch of concrete with seeds in it, why not put grass and plants down? I must be missing something.
