The word “amplitude” is another garbage media term that nobody actually involved in the sport uses. Ditto for skateboarding.
I have to believe it was born from an overzealous X Games or Gravity Games commentator.
You know, because like “amplitude” is like… totally extreme sounding and “height” is for stupid pole vaulters. Dude.
So, do your 8 year old a favor and save him or her from being the laughing stock of the local skate or snowboard park - amplitude is unacceptable.
