It took me a few minutes to figure out what this was all about (I was given no context). Lucky for you, I have the day off and my errands done, so I will give you context before shoving you off to some random site.
The idea: A guy has taken one red paperclip as a starting point. His goal is to trade items (starting with the paperclip) with people until he ends up with a house. Sounds insane, right? Well he already has gone from red paperclip to a 1995 Ford “cube” van that runs fine.
Sure, he got lucky when a well-known radio host traded him a fully functioning snowmobile in good condition for “a trip to Yahk, Canada”, but it’s still fascinating and clever.
