Hosting

I have to say, after upgrading Wordpress (the software behind this site) from 1.5.2 to 2.0.1 with 3 mouse clicks today, Dreamhost (my web hosting company) continues to show me someone can get it right.

I have had zero noticeable outages since switching to them 2 months ago. Their “Control Panel” suite of tools for managing my account is excellent. They recently increased storage and bandwidth allowances by tremendous amounts without charge.

What’s not to like? Here’s hoping it stays that way.

    I had mixed experiences with dreamhost, but overall they were quite good. Definitely on the better side of the experience bar. I followed your textdrive situation and can personally relate. I moved to futurequest and have been very satisfied with their service and professionalism. They seem to get what customer service is. Although people have good things to say about pair, I found they can also be quite rude when you voice opinion about something. Good luck with dreamhost, they seem to offer a lot for the money. If you need to change again, check out futurequest. 1.5 years and counting. All smiles.
