Hunter Douglas Blinds +1

I’m a critical guy when it comes to customer service and business interaction. My public comments go both ways though, and I am always sure to let people know when they get it right.

Today, Hunter Douglas (window treatment products) gets a big fat thumbs up.

I’ve been in my new house for roughly 8 months now. Two of the “honeycomb” blinds’ retaining clips were aged and subsequently broken easily during removal for painting.

  1. Each blind’s top was labeled by Hunter Douglas with the manufacture date, dimensions, and model information. Score.
  2. Getting to their website and finding support was a simple affair. Score.
  3. Installation instructions for my 10 year old blinds were online in PDF form so I was able to examine the parts list and naming for the broken pieces. Score.
  4. Hunter Douglas offered (and delivered), at no charge to me, replacement clips. I asked for 3. They sent 5.

That, my friends, is how to run a business.
